Water Experiences
Discover a host of aquatic adventures in our incredible pools, or bask on one of Hawaiʻi’s best beaches, just steps from our resort. Plan the perfect family day out at our epic Wailea Canyon Activity Pool, take a serene dip in our adults-only Hibiscus Pool, or relax on the warm sands of picture-perfect Wailea Beach.

Hibiscus Pool
The 4,850 sq. ft. Hibiscus Pool is named for the giant Hibiscus flower inlaid on the bottom of the pool made from over 630,000 pieces of Mexican glass mosaic tile. The entire pool contains over 2.2 million individual tiles and features two Jacuzzis. This pool is reserved for guests 18 and older.

Activity Pool
Spend the day in this epic 2,000-foot-long, 25,700 sq. ft., 770,000-gallon pool area that consists of nine individual pools on six different levels, connected by a river that carries swimmers along whitewater rapids and gentle currents. This Wailea Canyon Activity Pool features four jungle pools, five intertwining slides, a whitewater rapids slide, a Tarzan pool with rope swing, a sand "baby" beach, six waterfalls, caves, three Jacuzzis, and a swim-up bar.

Lava Tube Slide
Prepare to be exhilarated with a 3-story drop slide splashing into an updated and refreshed pool.
The Lava Tube Slide boasts:
- 262 Feet of slide
- 14 second ride
- 30 foot/3 story drop
- 360 degree turn
- Up to 22 miles per hour speeds
*Keiki must be taller than 48" to ride the Lava Tube slide
Cabanas
Registered guests of Grand Wailea & Hoʻolei and Kulana Members enjoy exclusive access to our luxe cabanas and casabellas. Reservations are required in advance, either at booking or during your stay.

For Your Safety
- Wristbands are required in order to be in and around the pools.
- Guests leaving belongings longer than 1 hour will have items removed to a secured cabinet.
- Keiki must be taller than 48" tall to ride the Lava slide and the Puka slides.
- Up to 4 lounge chairs on the pool decks can be reserved at one time.
In order to ensure availability of our pool/beach services and shade, we endeavor to accommodate all guest requests and preferences. Complimentary lounge chairs will be available to our guests on a first come first serve basis.
Pools and decks are reserved for registered guests only. All guests need to be registered at time of check in, no additions or name changes will be permitted after check in.
One wristband per person is given for the length of your stay. Should you remove your wristband, the original must be returned in order to receive a replacement.

Wailea Beach
Just steps away from Grand Wailea is Wailea Beach, rated one of the best beaches on Maui and one of the top beaches in the world. Spend your days relaxing in the Hawaiʻi sun with beautiful views of Pacific Ocean. And in the evenings, enjoy breathtaking Maui sunsets.
Beach Yoga
Welcome the beautiful Maui morning with an energizing hour-long beginner yoga session on Wailea Beach. Classes take place daily. Reservations are required.
Outrigger Tours
Grand Wailea celebrates one of the most revered Hawaiian traditions with our newly-launched Outrigger program. Join us for an authentic Maui experience aboard a traditional outrigger canoe on a guided paddling journey down the golden coast of Wailea—Hawaiian for the “waters of Lea,” the goddess of canoe builders. With each dip of your paddle into these storied waters, take an unforgettable journey to rediscover yourself and the magic, beauty, and wonder of Wailea.

Stand-Up Paddleboarding
Embark from Wailea Beach on an unforgettable journey across the tranquil waters of Wailea on a stand-up paddleboard, available to rent from our on-resort partner Aqualani.
Try Scuba Program
Grand Wailea has the only resort-designated SCUBA training pool in Hawaiʻi. DIVE Wailea, Grand Wailea’s third party SCUBA provider, offers complimentary pool lessons to first-time divers, 12 years or older. Their professional instructors can also escort you on one of four ocean dives tailored to novice or certified divers.

Whale Watching
Hawai‘i’s official whale season begins on December 15 and continues through May 15. Boats leave from both Mā‘alaea Harbor (25 min drive time) and Lāhainā Harbor (45 min Drive Time). Whale watches are generally two hours long and many are guaranteed (you go again until you see whales!). Tours are offered throughout the day but mornings offer better ocean conditions.
